On Friday 17 November 2023, Aamal Company Q.P.S.C. and the Qatar Cycling Federation are hosting an exciting new cycling event – Aamal Ride 2023. As the first of a series of initiatives with the local community, Aamal Ride will harness the power of sport to promote active lifestyles, mental and physical well-being and community spirit in Qatar. Open to the public, the multi-distance event will provide a rewarding experience for everyone, whether they are cycling for the first time or looking to challenge themselves further.
Route: 85 KM
Start time: 6:45 am
Type of rider: Expert and fit cyclists who can maintain at least +25 km/hr. average speed. (Strictly +16 years old; national team cadets are exempt; road bikes only)
Route: 56 KM
Start time: 7:15 am
Type of rider: Expert and fit cyclists who can maintain at least +22 km/hr. average speed. (Strictly +16 years old; national team cadets are exempt; preferably road bikes)
Route: 14 KM
Start time: 7:30 am
Type of rider: Anyone who knows how to ride a bike and has good road awareness. All kind of bikes are allowed except for TT bikes.
Lusail Blvd Venue loop – 1.6 KM
Start time: 7:45 am
Type of rider: No matter who you are or if you are new to cycling, this ride is open to you! Great for families or anyone who would like to ride for fun.

Aamal Company is collaborating with the Qatar Cycling Federation to start “Aamal Ride”, a fun and inclusive cycling event aimed at encouraging a healthy lifestyle and sporting endeavor. This event is one in a series of Aamal initiatives focused on supporting and uplifting our local communities, a key pillar of Aamal’s strategy.
